What it is known for
The White effects and experience
- Relaxed
- Sleepy
- Euphoric
Relaxation, sleepiness and euphoria are prominent consumer descriptions of The White. Its reputation is more settled than stimulating, despite a smell that is often described as relatively quiet.
That contrast is useful for readers. A restrained aroma does not necessarily mean a restrained experience. Descriptions of body relaxation and a pleasant mental lift can coexist, without establishing a precise onset, duration or guaranteed response.

Reported experiences
The effect and unwanted-effect tags summarize self-selected reports. The subdued-aroma reputation does not establish a mild effect or a predictable onset time.

Reports also include dizziness, dry mouth, anxiety. Experiences vary by person and product.
Aroma, flavor and appearance
- Earthy
- Pine
- Woody
- Hash
- Creamy
The White has a comparatively subtle aroma of earth, pine and dry wood. Faint hash, lemon and creamy notes can add detail, but the overall character is restrained rather than strongly candy-like or fuel-led. Subtle does not mean odorless; its lighter notes are part of the profile.
Flower appearance
A pale coating of trichomes is its defining visual feature. These small resin-bearing glands create the frosted surface that helps explain the name. The contrast between a striking appearance and a quieter aroma is a useful way to understand The White.

Aroma and resin coverage
Leafly’s consumer descriptions and Katsu’s breeder accounts support a restrained aroma and conspicuous resin. No terpene concentration or potency is inferred from those traits.

The White cannabinoids and terpenes
THC and terpene levels vary with phenotype, growing conditions, harvest, drying, storage and testing. The figures here describe specific samples or published descriptions, rather than a fixed recipe for The White. Understanding the numbers.
A checked flower lab report is not yet available in this guide, so we do not currently list THC, CBD or terpene percentages for The White.
Terpenes mentioned in published descriptions; concentrations are not yet documented:
- Caryophyllene
- Myrcene
- Limonene

Chemistry still to document
Leafly mentions caryophyllene, myrcene and limonene, without a matching original report here. A search result for The White CBG flower concerns a different product identity and is not used to fill this profile’s table.

Genetics and history
The White is a hybrid best known for the dense coating of pale resin glands on its flowers. It is associated with the grower Krome and an original cut once called Triangle. Its exact parentage remains undisclosed.
In the account preserved by SeedFinder, Krome describes a three-way cross and distinguishes it from Triangle Kush, another plant. He also states that it has no relation to White Widow to his knowledge. Those distinctions are more informative than guessing a pedigree from the name or its resemblance to an OG.
The White also appears as a parent in later breeding. That makes the complete name important: The White, The White S1 and The White OG refer to different forms of genetic material, not three interchangeable spellings.
About the related names
Triangle is the historical name recorded in Krome’s account. Triangle Kush and The White OG are separate identities, not aliases for this profile.

Krome’s account and name distinctions
SeedFinder preserves an attributed statement from Krome, rather than an independently authenticated pedigree. It explicitly distinguishes Triangle Kush. The original parents remain unnamed.

Growing The White
Published characteristics for the named versions below. Flowering time excludes the earlier growth period; seed-to-harvest estimates cover the full cycle.
Krome’s cut, described by Katsu
- Plant & flower structure
- Short and bushy, with strong side branches and conspicuous resin
- Starting material
- Original selected clone
Katsu The White S1
- Starting material
- Selfed seed offspring; variation remains between plants
The original identity is a clone selection. Katsu describes that plant as short and bushy, with strong side branching and conspicuous resin coverage. Those are breeder observations about the named cut, rather than a complete set of specifications for every descendant.
There are now documented seed descendants too. Katsu’s The White S1 is described as selfed offspring of Krome’s cut. S1 identifies a generation derived from the same parent; it does not mean each seed is a genetically identical copy. The breeder explicitly notes variation within the release.
The White OG is a different case. The Seedsman description preserved by SeedFinder names The White and Rollex OG as its parents. That additional parent changes the identity, so its aroma, flowering description and other traits should stay with The White OG rather than being assigned back to The White.

Original cut and seed descendants
Katsu describes its S1 as selfed offspring and explicitly notes variation. The White OG description names an additional parent, so it is treated as a different cross rather than a replacement identity.

The White questions
Is The White the same as White Widow?
No. In the account preserved by SeedFinder, Krome states that The White has no relation to White Widow to his knowledge. Their similar names do not establish shared parentage.
Is The White the same as Triangle Kush?
No. Triangle is a historical name for The White, but Krome’s account distinguishes Triangle Kush as another plant. The White OG is also a separate cross.
Why is it called The White?
The name refers to its conspicuous pale trichome covering, which can make the flowers look heavily frosted. Appearance alone does not measure cannabinoid content.
Does The White have much aroma?
It is known for a relatively restrained aroma. Earth, wood and pine appear in consumer descriptions, while breeder accounts also mention faint hash, lemon and cream notes. Subtle does not mean completely odorless.
Are there seeds of The White?
The original is a clone selection, but seed descendants exist. Katsu lists The White S1 as selfed offspring of Krome’s cut and notes that those seeds vary. They are not identical copies of the clone.
How much THC does The White have?
There is no fixed percentage for every product called The White. This guide does not yet have a checked flower certificate tied to the Krome-associated identity, so no measured cannabinoid range is displayed.
