Cannabis Shops in Vancouver I Would Send My Mother To
Vancouver has become known for its many cannabis dispensaries. but standards vary. Having visited cannabis dispensaries all over Vancouver, I can confidently send my mother and female friends to the locations below. These are my favourite cannabis shops, based on atmosphere, location, cleanliness, service, staff knowledge, product variety and quality.
If you are at all apprehensive about visiting a cannabis dispensary, this boutique shopping experience will dispel your fears. This dispensary is for people of all ages but especially for women aged 40+.
The Village has set a new standard for this emerging industry. It has the atmosphere of a trendy cafe and the staff are friendly and incredibly helpful. At the front of the store, there is a generous display of cannabis-infused beauty and skin care products. Towards the back of the store, there is a wide variety of flower strains, extracts, and accessories.
Understanding that I prefer not to smoke and my listening to my intentions with cannabis, the well-informed staff were able to direct me towards various products. If you are just curious to learn more and want to experience a beautiful cannabis dispensary in Vancouver, you don’t need to be a member to visit. Built up by a local Vancouver family, this beautiful location is very close to Granville Island, nestled in a courtyard next to the waterfall of the big glass gallery. The perfect afternoon cannabis adventure.
Aura is taking a positive health and wellness approach to cannabis. With space to accommodate a yoga studio and a holistic nutritionist in-house, Aura is shaping the way cannabis dispensaries will look in the future. Each time I’ve visited, the staff have been enthusiastic and friendly with a growing selection of products available including one of my favorites the Miss Envy Buddha Bar. My favorite part of the store is the wall of cannabis strains available for smell testing as no strain has the same aroma profile. A good choice when coming from the outer suburbs, Aura is located at Kingsway and Clark with free parking on the side street.
What I like about Apollo Medical Clinic is that they engage with the community, providing education and supporting a holistic approach to health and wellness. The modern store is clean, bright and comfortable and you can check out their in-store menu in advance. Apollo is easy to find on West 4th Street near Pine, with parking available at the back. Give them a call if you have any questions. The staff are very friendly and happy to help. My mother would love that they have a bowl of water for dogs and CBD-infused dog treats available.
While cannabis dispensaries, done well, are a service to their communities, reducing sales on the street and providing personalized service, there are legalities to be aware of. Find out more here.
